About the Team & Business Line:

Fund + SPV Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. 

As a core member of the CFS Real Assets team, you will assist the business in developing and executing on its Operational Control and Legal Entity Oversight management framework. You will work closely with local business leaders, predominantly in the European legal entities. As a first line you will also work closely with second- and third-line stakeholders and you will need to identify, assess and propose mitigating actions in close collaboration with the respective stakeholders across CFS and where applicable Group functions.

 


Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships & Risk Management: 

  • Proactively develop and nurture strategic relationships with the Real Assets Team, local entity CFS SPV business leads, Group Compliance, Group Risk teams, and key stakeholders (OCM, legal, finance) 
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation strategies for Operational and Legal Entity Risks within SPV servicing locations across CFS Real Assets Business line
  • Successfully implement strategic initiatives across European operations 

Governance & Compliance Leadership: 

  • Provide expert guidance on Legal Entity Governance, Operational Control, Compliance, and Oversight matters in a fast-paced regulatory environment 
  • Design and implement robust control frameworks for critical processes including:
  • AML and transaction monitoring
  • Data integrity and quality assurance
  • DAC6 and UBO registration
  • FATCA/CRS compliance
  • Regulatory oversight
  • Corporate governance
  • Outsourcing management

Quality Assurance & Process Enhancement: 

  • Spearhead the development and testing of key controls, ensuring proactive risk identification and management 
  • Conduct thorough reviews of policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure clarity, effectiveness, and practical applicability 
  • Drive continuous improvement in documentation quality and operational efficiency

Knowledge Management & Training: 

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on Legal Entity Governance framework, policies, and regulatory changes 
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer across European CFS "SPV" servicing locations

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: 

  • Generate insightful periodic reports on governance and compliance matters 
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending improvements where needed


Qualifications

 

About You

This role requires a dynamic individual who can anticipate challenges, adapt to changing regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of risk management while delivering practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Background & Experience: 

  • Advanced degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Law, Tax, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in Governance, Risk, and Control within financial services
  • Demonstrated expertise in first, second, or third-line roles focusing on Operational Risk Management, Control, Governance, and Outsourcing

Technical Expertise: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of global operational control standards and best practices 
  • In-depth knowledge of Fund and SPV administration, including global operational processes 
  • Strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and governance requirements in financial services 
  • Proficiency in PowerBI (preferred)

Professional Competencies: 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding documentation skills, particularly in:
  • Report writing
  • Policy and procedure development
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management across global, diverse teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement practical solutions
