The Role\: Warehouse Assistant Manager
What will you do?
· Responsible for planning, controlling, and managing inbound/outbound flow of raw materials or Finished goods operations to ensure on-time availability/delivery of orders, optimization of resources, accuracy of inventory, efficiency of operations, data integrity, compliance with quality and safety standards
· Responsible for maintaining, communicating, and improving relationships with internal or external customers and suppliers
· Monitor the team's performance, coach, and develop improvement plans where needed to improve employee satisfaction and motivation level
· Reports generation and supports audit requirements
· Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments according to the SPS principle
· Ensures open/closed-loop communication with other departments such as planning/quality/procurement/operations/engineering/logistics/safety/facilities to ensure continuous/smooth warehouse operations
· Continually plan, develop, and control processes and procedures to optimize resources, improve efficiency and meet customers’ requirements
· Perform other work-related tasks that may be assigned by the Logistics/Warehouse Manager from time to time
Who would be successful?
· College graduate with good scholastic records
· With more than 5 years of experience in Import/export from a manufacturing environment in a Philippine Economic Zone, Customs Bonded Warehouse, or logistic service provider
· Well adapt or manage processes and teams associated with planning, directing, and monitoring all warehouse activities related to movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging including Shipping and Receiving, Warehousing, Materials handling, Order filling, picking, and packing, Inventory control and records management
· Can coach other team members and a good motivator
· With a good understanding of quality procedures and requirements
· Good attention to detail and good analytical ability
· With a strong background in Philippine customs rules and procedures
· Preferably with experience in Warehouse Operations or Inventory Management
· Work Location: Rosario, Cavite
· Working arrangements: Full-time onsite reporting, 6x a week schedule
