The CPPM Specialist serves as a strategic partner, supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of the company's overall plan. This includes analyzing the business environment, advising on portfolio management, and assisting business units in crafting their strategies. They further play a key role in facilitating planning sessions, delivering reports, and tracking progress to ensure successful strategy implementation. 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategy Formulation

  • Regularly monitor the current business environment. Study the impact of economic, industry, and regulatory trends to the business
  • Provide updates on the competitive landscape. Conduct sector scoping and opportunity sizing for any investment or divestment options
  • Assist the company’s Senior Management team in setting the company’s Vision and selecting strategies to achieve its objectives
  • Prepare ad hoc research and business case studies

Corporate Planning and Business Performance Management

  • Help develop and implement leading practice and processes for business planning, capital budgeting, performance monitoring and analysis, financial modelling, and financial analysis
  • Assist the CPPM manager in facilitating the annual business planning sessions
  • Provide support in the development and monitoring of the corporate scorecard and KPIs
  • Assist in identifying key issues that may impact the company’s performance, action plans to resolve such issues, and follow through with the implementation of agreed action plans

Program Management

  • Monitor projects critical to the corporate strategy
  • Provide enablement sessions on TGI project management process
  • Organize periodic cadence with various Project Leads to monitor progress, identify issues and risks to the project, and develop mitigation plans together with the project team
  • Prepare monthly report on project portfolio progress for the Senior Management team


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial, Management Engineering, Economics, or Accounting (CPA/CFA, a plus)
  • Preferably with 1 year of corporate experience
  • Strategic Management, Financial Analysis, Project Management training/certification is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Good communication skills; fluent in English
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
