Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage on-site transport operations at military camps and ports, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and smooth traffic flow throughout operations.

The focus of this role is field coordination, space planning, traffic control, and direct communication with military clients and transport partners.

The definition of success for this role is that all cargo is loaded and unloaded correctly, available space is optimized, vehicle traffic flows smoothly, and all operations are completed according to the approved schedule.

This position holds full accountability for field execution, coordination, and operational control at assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate directly with U.S. military representatives regarding cargo to be loaded or unloaded.
  • Confirm cargo details, quantities, priorities, and movement sequence with the client.
  • Plan truck loading layouts to maximize available space and ensure safe transport.
  • Guide drivers on proper cargo placement, weight distribution, and securing methods.
  • Control and manage vehicle movement inside military camps to prevent congestion.
  • Coordinate truck entry and exit timing within military camps and port areas.
  • Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Resolve on-site operational issues, including space limitations, traffic bottlenecks, and last-minute changes.
  • Communicate real-time operational updates to the Calling Team and Operations Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with camp rules, safety requirements, and military instructions at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2 years experience in field logistics, transport operations, site coordination, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience in military logistics, port handling, or large-scale transport operations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • Proficiency in Filipino is required for coordination with drivers and local personnel.
  • Basic technical skills in cargo planning, space utilization, and weight awareness.
  • Willingness to work on-site, outdoors, for long hours, and on rotating schedules as required by operations.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain field operation logs recording truck arrivals and loading or unloading times.
  • Perform cargo verification to confirm items loaded or unloaded match instructions.
  • Record traffic control notes, including congestion issues and resolutions implemented.
  • Prepare incident reports documenting delays, cargo damage, or safety issues.
