MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:


The primary responsibility of the Head of People Operations is to lead, coach and oversee the entire People Operations team. Working closely with management and business leaders, he / she will develop and implement people strategies and initiatives across the organization, ensuring that policies and processes focus on supporting and improving the employee experience across the entire lifecycle.


This position is a key strategic role in the company helping to grow the business and allowing us to build a strong people oriented culture at Sproutο»Ώ



TASKS:


  • Lead and manage a growing People Operations team responsible for managing the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Provide HR industry expertise in the development and implementation of people strategies

  • Work with the executive team and department leaders in all human resources related activities

  • Act as the bridge between Sprout’s people and key stakeholders of the company

  • Provide human resources support and consultation across the business on the most complex issues, supporting staff, managers and executives in all related areas including: recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, and people development

  • Provide leadership on people-related issues and policies across the company

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish business requirements, analyze internal business needs, and identify areas of opportunity to drive the business forward and meet company objectives

  • Analyze data and metrics (qualitative and quantitative) to improve the employee experience at the company, and increase the employee retention rate

  • Build collaborative relationships across the organization.

  • Drive a progressive, proactive, positive culture, and increase levels of engagement, enablement, and retention.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the company




QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:ο»Ώ


  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR or People Operations roles with a demonstrable track record of building and optimizing processes, systems, and structures.
  • Experience in scaling an organization as Head of HR / People or in a similar role

  • 3-5 years of experience leading people and cross-functional organizations.

  • Understand how SaaS company growth affects the employee experience. Ideally you've been in a software startup or growing organization in the past.

  • Demonstrated ownership and the successful implementation of new People Operations processes and strategy.

  • Management coaching, training and leadership experience.

  • Driven, motivated and excited for the challenges that come from working for a high-growth start up

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
