I. JOB DECRIPTION
The Infrastructure Services Manager is an experienced and skilled individual who will oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of TGI’s IT infrastructure. With a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals responsible for the organization's IT infrastructure, including network, servers, storage, virtualization, and related technologies.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, roadmaps, and standards to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's systems and networks.
- Plan, design, and implement infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server virtualization, cloud migrations, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the IT infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, data center, cloud and related IT infrastructure standards, security standards, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of IT infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and align infrastructure initiatives with organizational goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities related to IT infrastructure, including negotiating contracts, evaluating service level agreements, and monitoring vendor performance.
- Develop and maintain IT infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Minimum Education
- Graduate of Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are highly desirable
B. Minimum Experience/Training
- Experience in data center operations and maintenance
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and infrastructure architectures.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management methodologies.
- Experience in managing an ERP system (SAP) is an advantage.
- Experience in TIA-942 certification and related data center standards an advantage
