Job Purpose
Primarily responsible in providing the technology vision and leadership for developing, implementing and managing information technology plans, programs, policies, services and initiatives that support to accomplish the long term corporate goals and objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
Defines and communicates plans, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems
Participates in IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
Coordinates and facilitates consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.Performs other job-related projects and tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Tasks
Formulates new IT policy and do IT policy review on a weekly basis
Implements detailed operational guidelines for all IT facilities
Proposes, implements and oversees IT infrastructure projects on demand.
Participates actively in the Business Contingency Plan preparation, planning and execution annually.
Develops and maintains an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
Establishes IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
Assesses and communicates risks associated with IT investments.
Develops, tracks, and monitors the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
Assesses and makes recommendations on the improvement or re-engineering of the IT organization.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Required Education/Professional Licensure/Certifications
A graduate of BS Computer Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering course
Minimum Required Experience
At least twelve (12) years of IT work experience preferably in a financial institution, seven (7) of which are in managerial capacity
