We're looking for an Lead Aeronautical Ground Lighting Engineer to join our Transport & Civil Infrastructure team to undertake the technical delivery of Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) design projects to a high standard, meeting client’s expected outcomes.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Develop lighting designs comprising: Light layouts, Circuit design, Circuit loading calculations, Pit and duct design, Installation details, Airfield Lighting Equipment Room (ALER) fit out design, Control equipment design, Control system schematics, user interfaces, etc


• Undertake floodlight illumination software modelling and associated layout and cabling


• Consult with equipment suppliers regarding installation requirements, equipment performance, etc.


• Coordination with line marking / pavement / geometry / drainage / ALER building designs by others


• Coordinate (and/or prepare) design drawings


• Update / prepare client manuals and Defence AGL Configuration Manuals


• Respond to construction phase Requests For Information (RFIs)


• Undertake various site based duties including: Condition / compliance audit inspections, Scoping inspections (to inform project scope / design, Construction phase inspections (to validate construction meets design intent), System testing and commissioning, Inspections during Defects Liability Period to confirm on-going correct performance

What you will bring to the team:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the aviation sector, where performance has met/exceeded expectation


• Possesses the ability to perform electrical design and document it according to technical drawing standards


• Understanding of aviation design standards and design manuals


• Understanding of key design issues relating to AGL systems, apron floodlighting, control systems and general electrical engineering


•  Ability to work within a multidisciplinary environment

This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City, depending on your home base/location.

Candidates must be a Filipino citizen or have the right to work in the Philippines.
