Our partner, recognized in the 2024 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” and recently awarded Best Law Firms, United States Immigration Law, Tier 1 for the 2025 edition, is seeking a Legal Admin Assistant to join their esteemed team!
This premier boutique immigration law firm, based in New York City with over 25 years of experience, is known for crafting innovative immigration solutions. In this role, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working closely with a team of paralegals and the managing partner.
This position requires on-site work in BGC, Taguig, with a night shift schedule that aligns with U.S. East Coast business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling administrative requests and inquiries to support the lawyers and paralegals.
- Gather information and documents from clients.
- Compiles, reviews, and organizes documents.
- Maintain and update databases, calendar and other tracking systems or reports.
- Assisting with day-to-day operational admin tasks.
- Answer incoming telephone calls.
- Assist billing clerk as needed.
- Other related tasks that may be deemed necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in legal industry.
- Excellent English Language communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and has exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong command in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat or other immigration form software is preferred.
