Job Description
Management of infrastructure, network, equipment, and facilities
Update and maintenance of LDAP and other corporate applications
Plans internal and external process improvements for continued service excellence
Manages all internet equipment peripherals, and ensures that these equipments are properly maintained, updated, and in good running condition at all times
Liaises with internet service provider should there be any issues
Develop a back-up/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
Manages, fulfills, and/or escalates IT Helpdesk tickets
Provides troubleshooting for servers, network devices, and firewall configurations
Provide basic PC troubleshooting and software installation for end-users
Notifies end users of outage and/or maintenance schedule
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Technology or any related course.
2-3 years of experience in network and system management and administration. MSCE and Cisco Certification desired.
Strong knowledge of network operating systems (Microsoft NT/2003/Server) and data communication protocols and technologies
Experience in MS Active Directory, PFSense, Cacti, MRTG, LDAP, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.
Knowledge in Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting
Organized, systematic, and able to work autonomously
Good and functional level of English.
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong time management skills β ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic β must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
