Job Description

  • Management of infrastructure, network, equipment, and facilities
  • Update and maintenance of LDAP and other corporate applications
  • Plans internal and external process improvements for continued service excellence
  • Manages all internet equipment peripherals, and ensures that these equipments are properly maintained, updated, and in good running condition at all times
  • Liaises with internet service provider should there be any issues
  • Develop a back-up/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
  • Manages, fulfills, and/or escalates IT Helpdesk tickets
  • Provides troubleshooting for servers, network devices, and firewall configurations
  • Provide basic PC troubleshooting and software installation for end-users
  • Notifies end users of outage and/or maintenance schedule

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Technology or any related course.
  • 2-3 years of experience in network and system management and administration. MSCE and Cisco Certification desired.
  • Strong knowledge of network operating systems (Microsoft NT/2003/Server) and data communication protocols and technologies
  • Experience in MS Active Directory, PFSense, Cacti, MRTG, LDAP, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.
  • Knowledge in Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting
  • Organized, systematic, and able to work autonomously
  • Good and functional level of English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong work ethic – must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
  • Ability to function in a global team environment
  • Open to multicultural work environment
