Job Description

In this position you will:

  • Conduct independent verification of freight invoices by communicating with our clients' customers.
  • Review freight invoices, rate confirmations, bill of landings and other back up documentation for accuracy and any potential risk of fraud or non-payment. (risk management assessment)
  • Review credit history and determine credit worthiness of potential customers.
  • Manage aging status of the client’s portfolio and assisting with collections as needed.
  • Assist with various data management and data entry projects.
  • Provide customer service support over the phone/internet/in person.

Qualifications

To be considered you will need:

  • Business related course graduate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in office administration functions and customer service.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • 1 + year(s) of general bookkeeping experience
  • 1+ year (s) in transportation/freight management or related field
  • Familiarity with credit assessment and collections is a plus.
