About the Role


As a Power Bi Developer II, you will be responsible for building reports and dashboards, writing and optimizing complex queries, troubleshooting issues, and applying effective solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in defining schemas, leveraging data lake formats, and working with MS Fabric and Azure cloud databases to pull data for reports and dashboards. 


 


What you will do: 



  • Build dynamic and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

  • Write and optimize complex queries using DAX, M, and Power Query to ensure data accuracy and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, applying effective solutions to maintain system reliability.

  • Define data relationships and structures to support efficient data management and reporting.

  • Write and optimize complex queries to support various data processing and analytical needs.

  • Utilize data lake formats to enhance data retrieval and processing.

  • Work with MS Fabric and Azure cloud databases to extract and integrate data for reporting purposes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights that support business decisions.

  • Implement best practices for data engineering, including coding standards and testing.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, and tools.

  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and best practices to continuously improve reporting and data visualization capabilities.


We are Seeking People Who: 



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business analytics, computer engineering, or a related field.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

  • Are proficient in DAX, M query, and Power Query.

  • Are knowledgeable in data lake formats and their applications.

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Are owners.

  • Are continually raising the bar.

  • Are sincerely open-minded and are willing to examine their strongest convictions with humility.
