  1. Provides leadership to a diverse group of technical professionals assigned to deliver systems and solutions to support specific business objectives
  2. Formulates appropriate solutions and approaches to various business requirements or issues that needs to be addressed
  3. Designs processes and program logic geared towards efficiency and sustainability of Systems and Applications that will be used to by the operating groups to enhance their productivity and efficiency
  4. Ensures that all members of the team are delivering their expected outputs on schedule and within budget
  5. Decides on the deployment and use of resources needed to accomplish a specific project as long as it is within specified budget and authority limits
  6. Manages expectations of stakeholders and ensures adherence to Software Development Lifecycle Process, best practices, and company’s Internal Controls
  7. Establishes system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements as part of designing the system infrastructure
  8. Defines database requirements by interviewing IT users; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems
  9. Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications
  10. Institute internal safeguards on funds, assets, company properties and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency of office facilities and equipment.
  11. Assist in enhancing internal work processes in close coordination with the IT Business Application Team to provide corrective actions to recurring problems including internal guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems from occurring.
  12. Monitor compliance of all IT projects to all regulatory requirements.
  13. Comply with the Employee Code of Conduct within the department.
  14. Assist in employee selection, hiring, training, placement, movement, rewards and recognition of workforce under supervision.
  15. Evaluate the performance of immediate reports on a regular basis.
