Primary Duties & Responsibilities



 



  • Responsible in performing Quality inspections points in Outgoing Quality (OQA/OBA) and conducts daily In-Process Quality Check to ensure that machine and process parameters are compliant to the specification. The QA Technician will be stationed in the Cleanroom to increase visibility of QA patroling the production from IQA, Assembly and Test.       

  • Approves in-process production that conforms to the specification; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to Process/ Maintenance Engineering. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests and ensuring that all materials are meets or exceeds customer requirements.

  • Responsible in validating raw material quality issues in production. The QA Technician is responsible for maintaining the disposition of problematic materials and ensuring the segragation of MRB materials real time. Provides immediate disposition and generates report to be submitted to QA Engineer or QA Manager. Collects and consolidates all the reject units produced by production process on a defined frequency. Document in the Quality Database and safekeep all reject units from the production area. Report any non conforming material/ product and hold production for any high failure rate due to quality problems.

  • Assist QA Engineer in conducting regular patrol audit weekly to ensure both product and process requirements are met. Result of line patrol audit will be reviewed together with QA Engineer and Process Owners to ensure that findings are acknowledged and rootcauses are addressed & resolved.

  • Responsible in maintaining that correct documents are posted in the production line. Assists QA Engineer or QA Manager whenever there is internal, customer or external audit from cerifying bodies. The QA Technician will also release a daily endorsement report summarizing the activities concluded.  

  • Maintains the MRB system to ensure that hold materials and products are dispositioned, with proper hold tag and identified locations. The QA Technician will be responsible assisting during inventory count monthly. The QA Technician will also assists in doing Incoming Quality Inspection should there be any case needed help will arise in doing so.                              

     


 



Education & Experience



 



  • College level, graduate of vocation course minimum requirement                   

  • Minimum 2-4 yrs experience in Quality Engineering in semiconductor/optoelectronics industry. 

  • Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access.

  • Experience in data collection and analysis including process capability studies and analysis of DOE data.

  • Auditing knowledge including ISO 9001.

  • Calibration and verification expertise.

  • Understanding of semiconductor technology assembly and test.

  • Knowledgeable in using metrology and measuring equipment tools like microscope, shear tester, etc

  • Positive work ethics and collaborates well with colleagues.
