MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
- The Benefits Associate handles the administration of a specific benefit program/area.
- Responsible for the administration and implementation of employee statutory benefits and services.
- Acts as liaison between employee and HDMF, Philhealth or SSS.
- Assist employees with claims, questions and issues on statutory benefits.
- Prepare periodic reports and requirements to government institutions.
- Ensure compliance to benefits and compensation practices set forth by law and by the company.
- Calculate and validate the deductions for or payments for statutory benefits.
- Efficiently maintain and update statutory benefits database.
- Stay up to date on government mandates on statutory benefits.
- Prepare and communicate information to employees about the benefit programs, procedures, changes, or government-mandated updates.
- Prepare and release employee documents such as Certificate of Employment, Quit Claim and other related documents.
- Check accountabilities of separated employees, liaise with finance and employee on final pay processing and releasing.
- Assist in various C&B-related administrative tasks.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong working knowledge of statutory benefits guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to address issues and concerns related to Company Benefits.
- Ability to handle confidential information and documents with integrity and care.
- Organized, systematic and has keen eye for details.
