The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Brand Marketing Manager, based in Philippines, to join our Marketing team on a full-time basis.

 

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the primary purpose of this position is to execute the growth strategy for his/her assigned product category by developing brand plans, marketing and promotional programs, product budgets and forecasts, and by evaluating and delivering new pipeline opportunities in order to deliver agreed financial and market share targets. It will be required to monitor portfolio performance in the context of the local competitive and macro-environment and adjust executional strategies appropriately to maximise performance. All these will be done for brands personally handled as well as for brands handled by his/her direct report.

 

Key accountabilities include:

 

  • Deliver annual Gross Sales and EBITA financial targets, including year-on-year growth targets and agreed market shares for assigned products/ product category
  • Prepare the annual brand plans, budgets and forecasts; and manage all marketing A&P efficiently and monitor its effectiveness to ensure a positive ROI on investments
  • Ensure a consumer/patient centric mindset is at the forefront of all brand activity by leveraging compelling consumer insights and best practice learnings
  • Lead, direct and control marketing programs and activities for assigned products/product category ensuring that they comply with marketing codes, regulations and standards to protect the company and brand’s reputation
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate market and brand trends, consumer behaviours and competitor activity to identify market opportunities, adjusting marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions
  • Identify and evaluate portfolio gaps and comply with the iGate process requirements. This includes supporting the evaluation and analysis of global/regional innovation initiatives. Develop local launch plans for products/ product categories as appropriate.
  • Develop localized creatives and promotional strategies and objectives, ensuring they are consistent with regional strategies, guidelines, and toolkits. Develop and implement local Digital marketing strategy for assigned products/ product category (as appropriate), execution and evaluation with the intent to optimise performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that all consumer, customer and HCP initiatives are consistent with approved business strategies and brand style guidelines
  • Develop relationships with KOLs and brand advocates as needed and applicable


About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with minimum 5 years of marketing experience. Consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing experience is preferred.

Other key requirements for this role include:

  • A strong consumer centric mindset with proven success in brand management and development
  • Understands business strategy and is able to contribute effectively to brand planning and budgeting
  • Experience in developing marketing programs to drive KOL and HCP recommendation and endorsement
  • Experience in developing multi-channel marketing programs for hospitals, clinics and retail pharmacies
  • Experience in developing and executing consumer advertising and digital marketing campaigns
  • Plan and manage brand development projects, setting KPIs and co-ordinating efficient use of resources and managing communication with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including experience with Microsoft presentations
