One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Manila, Philippines.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data team dedicated to transforming raw data into actionable insights across the organization. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data transformation pipelines, enhance existing frameworks, and help build a modern lakehouse architecture. You'll work with cutting-edge tools like DBT, Snowflake, Airflow, and Python, with a focus on empowering business users through data. Accountabilities:

• Build, test, and deploy data transformation pipelines using DBT, Snowflake, and Airflow
• Redesign and migrate legacy transformation pipelines into modern, scalable systems
• Create semantic layers and data models for business intelligence and analytics tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices in version control and deployment
• Participate in the design and execution of a modern lakehouse architecture
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure data quality across all data workflows

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with full-cycle data implementation projects
• Strong experience with DBT and Snowflake or Redshift (must-have)
• Proven ability to design and manage scalable pipelines using Airflow (must-have)
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark with debugging and testing expertise
• Familiarity with metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and pipeline automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Buildkite, or similar
• Ability to work independently and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and a mindset focused on solving business problems through data
