Job brief
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy, to increase rankings on all major search networks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve search engine rankings.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements.
- Implement and manage SEO best practices for content creation and optimization.
- Conduct SEO audits and implement necessary adjustments.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies including link-building campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze backlink profiles and take necessary actions to disavow toxic links.
- Perform regular technical audits to ensure the health and performance of the site.
- Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Improve website performance metrics like page speed, mobile usability, etc.
- Collaborate with content teams to drive SEO in content creation.
- Develop and recommend content strategies that align with SEO goals.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools to track and report on performance.
- Provide regular reports on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects to stakeholders.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry and leverage new strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Strong understanding of PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
- Experience in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
