As a TESDA Caregiver NC II Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training that aligns with TESDA’s curriculum standards. Your role will involve both theoretical instruction and hands-on training, equipping students with the necessary skills to excel as professional caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct classroom-based and practical training sessions covering the TESDA Caregiver NC II curriculum, including topics such as patient care, basic nursing skills, and home management.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in developing and updating training materials to ensure they are current and aligned with TESDA standards and industry best practices.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through written exams, practical assessments, and other evaluation tools to ensure competency in caregiving skills.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their certification goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all training and assessment activities comply with TESDA guidelines, safety standards, and ethical practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in caregiving practices, TESDA regulations, and healthcare trends to continuously enhance the training program.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, assessments, and certification status.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Β Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Certification: TESDA Caregiver NC II Trainer Certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in training or teaching.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in caregiving techniques, patient care, and basic nursing procedures.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of TESDA competency standards, caregiving procedures, and healthcare best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • License/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent healthcare certification is a plus.
