Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for projects, ensuring that all necessary testing types (unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc.) are covered to ensure project quality and success.
Ensure accurate and complete quality metrics for all projects. Define annual testing goals, success measures, and exit criteria. Track and report testing progress and create improvement programs for missed metrics.
Oversee the delivery of testing services for projects, ensuring compliance with processes and tools. Ensure complete testing deliverables, on-time completion, and cost effectiveness. Develop and maintain automation strategies and source necessary testing resources. Serve as the primary point of contact for testing concerns and coordinate between project teams and testing partners.
Review test manager reports and take appropriate actions. Report overall testing status to the project team. Seek feedback from project management as needed. Report risks, issues, and dependencies to the project team and escalate critical issues to the QAE Section Lead.
