Virtual Assistant – YouTube Operations

Location: Remote (CST Working Hours)
Compensation: $1,000–$1,500/month
Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Role Overview

A fast-growing digital media brand is seeking a Virtual Assistant to support its YouTube Producer in scaling a high-performing YouTube channel focused on business and finance content. This role is behind-the-scenes and operational—you’ll be responsible for ensuring video content is uploaded, organized, and published on time and optimized for performance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, fluent in YouTube workflows, and confident using tools like Notion and AI to streamline processes. You won’t appear on camera or create content, but your contributions will be critical to the success of each video we publish.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Upload and schedule long-form videos, YouTube Shorts, and livestreams

• Optimize uploads using titles, tags, links, and descriptions aligned with SEO best practices

• Maintain and update the YouTube content calendar in Notion (track video status, assets, publish dates, etc.)

• Coordinate thumbnail delivery and ensure timely uploads

• Organize video files and asset libraries using internal systems

• Collaborate with editors, designers, and producers to maintain project timelines

• Monitor and log weekly performance metrics (views, CTR, retention, engagement, etc.)

• Assist with comment moderation and basic community engagement

• Implement and refine SOPs to streamline publishing workflows

• Use AI tools to assist with metadata creation, competitor research, and upload optimization

• Repurpose long-form content into Shorts by logging timestamps and drafting clip notes

What You Bring

• Experience managing YouTube uploads and publishing workflows (personal or professional)

• Proficiency with Notion, Google Drive, YouTube Studio, and Slack

• Excellent written communication skills and a strong attention to detail

• Interest in digital media, storytelling, and business/finance content

• Bonus: Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, or content repurposing for short-form platforms
