DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications for the Accounting Staff position. The individual in this role will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the organization's financial operations.
1. Record all financial transactions accurately and promptly into the accounting system, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
2. Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations by maintaining accurate records and providing necessary documentation for tax filing purposes.
3. Maintain organized and accessible financial records, ensuring documentation is readily available for audit and review purposes.
4. Process accounts payable transactions by verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and preparing payments. Manage accounts receivable activities including invoicing, recording receipts, and following up on outstanding balances.
5. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance for various department and project.
6. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions and records.
7. Perform additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
8. Provide support to other departments regarding financial inquiries and requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
3.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
6.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
