The role is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring the optimal functioning of Asian Eye facility such as Air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, CCTV, and FDAS. It includes managing operational budgets, handling SAP-related transactions, and coordinating car service bookings and preventive maintenance. The position also oversees outsourced personnel, processes administrative requirements like work permits and gate passes, and monitors repair requests. Vendor management is a key component, involving performance evaluation, contract compliance, issue resolution, and cost optimization. Also as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO), the role ensures regulatory compliance with environmental laws, secures permits, manages waste, conducts environmental monitoring, and leads training initiatives.
A. Facilities Management of Main Clinic and Operating Room (PHINMA)
Ensure buildings, equipment, and utilities (Air-conditioning, plumbing, electrical, CCTVs, & FDAS) are functioning properly.
Manage operational costs and optimize spending for facility upkeep. Handle SAP PR & GR filing, KF cash advance, and reimbursement filing.
Oversee car service booking, preventive maintenance (PMS), and car registration.
Process work permits, as well as egress and ingress gate passes. Monitor and encode break-fix items.
B. Vendor Management
Assess compliance with SLAs, contracts, and KPIs; conduct audits and reviews.
Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and agreements; mitigate risks.
Act as the main contact for vendors, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Assist in vendor onboarding, negotiations, and market research.
Address service disruptions and implement contingency plans.
Track vendor performance metrics and provide management insights.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance vendor collaboration.
C. Warehouse Management
Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor through the database.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction (KB1 clean-up)
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, and dispatches.
Generate inventory reports for management review and decision-making.
D. Regulatory Compliance and Pollution Control
Ensure adherence to Philippine environmental laws (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Ecological Solid Waste Management Act, etc.).
Secure necessary permits such as Permit to Operate (PTO), Discharge Permits, and Hazardous Waste Generator IDs.
Submit periodic reports to the DENR-EMB (e.g., Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR), Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR)).
Develop and implement pollution prevention programs.
Monitor air, water, and hazardous waste discharges.
Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of environmental impacts.
Maintain records of environmental performance and ensure timely submission of reports.
Educate employees on environmental laws and proper waste management.
Lead environmental compliance training and emergency response drills.
