Job Description:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company and driving the strategic direction of our technological initiatives. The CTO will ensure that our technology infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable, aligning with our business goals and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of Data Handling within the firm.
- Add option to disallow syncing to get offline copy of data from Google Drive.
- Naming convention policies and procedures.
- Security check procedures on Google Workspace
- Enabling 2 factor authentication on Filevine and Google Workspace
- Export activity logs from Google Drive for audit purposes
- Monthly report by PR to reflect movements
- Data Privacy Policies and Procedures
- Data Security / Cyber Security Policies and Procedures
- Case Status Implementation
- Data Privacy Agreement – Fortified Version
- Server (Cloud-based) to host Dropbox files
- Data Transfer / Migration Process and BCP’s
- Establish processes and policies on data access permission
- Establish process for onboarding and offboarding of technology-focused roles
- Evaluate Tech Vendors across the board
- Digital Marketing - Evaluate current practices and build secure infrastructure (Website & other online presence)
- Tech support Ticketing system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technological role.
- Proven experience in overseeing large-scale technology operations and IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy, data security, and cyber security policies.
- Experience with cloud computing, particularly in hosting and managing cloud servers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
