Digital Marketing Specialist & Virtual Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and well-rounded Virtual Assistant to support a small law office and its affiliated mediation business focused on peaceful divorce resolutions. This role combines general administrative tasks with a strong emphasis on marketing, social media, and digital content development. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organized professional with a background in social media management, digital marketing, and client communications, along with the flexibility to take on additional tasks as the business evolves.

Work schedule

  • At least 20-hr/week, part-time, with potential to scale to full-time depending on performance and business needs
  • Preferred hours: 

                 Monday to Thursday, 12 PM – 4 PM ET

                 Friday, 9 AM – 1 PM ET

Responsibilities

  • Research competitor marketing strategies and content approaches within the legal and mediation industries
  • Develop and propose content ideas and marketing strategies for the firm's online presence
  • Write and submit social media and marketing content drafts for internal review and approval
  • Post approved content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Be Real, Twitter / X, Reddit, Youtube and other similar platforms
  • Monitor and respond to comments, inquiries, and lead interactions across all social channels
  • Track and report on social media metrics and lead conversions
  • Draft professional email and web-based communications to potential leads
  • Gather contact information (phone numbers and emails) from interested leads to facilitate meeting scheduling
  • Assist with managing the firm's online calendar including setting appointments. 
  • Coordinate with the web designer to ensure timely rollout of the mediation page and align social media content and launch accordingly
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal office, including light data entry, document formatting, and email management
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support daily operations and business growth

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write compelling, on-brand content tailored to a professional services audience
  • Skilled in using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer)
  • Proven experience in analyzing engagement metrics and adapting strategies based on performance dataSelf-starter with a strategic mindset, capable of proposing and executing marketing initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in lead generation, CRM tools, and audience targeting is a plus
  • Bonus: Familiarity with legal, mediation, or professional service industries
