The role of an E-commerce Manager involves overseeing and managing the online sales of various platforms. This includes devising strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience, using tools and software to manage e-commerce platforms, and analyzing data to track progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The specific duties and responsibilities of an E-commerce Manager may vary depending on the size and scope of the company, but generally include:

  • Developing and executing e-commerce strategies in line with company and store objectives.
  • Managing and optimizing online sales channels, such as Website, Shopee, TikTok, and Lazada.
  • Creating campaigns and promotions while also participating in those offered by e-commerce platforms.
  • Analyzing e-commerce data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, sales, and product development) to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments and trends in e-commerce, and making recommendations for enhancement.
  • Creating a calendar for each platform used by the client, and other shops so that the sales and marketing team can develop appropriate materials.
  • Managing a team of employees under their supervision.
  • Working closely with the inventory manager to forecast items needed for sale and plan promotions accordingly.
  • Reporting directly to the operations and trade manager.

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • E-commerce Expertise: Preference for candidates with hands-on experience managing shops on major e-commerce platforms in the Philippines, such as Shopee and Lazada.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with platform-specific operations, tools, and best practices to optimize store performance and drive sales growth.
  • Valuable Connections: Proven ability to leverage industry relationships and knowledge to streamline operations and enhance the company’s presence on various platforms.
  • Adaptability: Capability to manage multiple shops across different platforms efficiently, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Strategic Insight: Experience in developing and implementing strategies tailored to e-commerce environments to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Candidates with extensive experience in Shopee, Lazada, and Tiktok will be given strong consideration.
