Electrical Power LV Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in low-voltage (LV) systems (<34.5kV) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cable routing, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and design processes within the EPC contractor design framework for renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Job Description

• Design and review low-voltage electrical systems (<34.5kV) for renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to technical standards and project specifications.
• Develop and optimize cable routing layouts, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for electrical components, cabling, and systems, supporting project budgeting and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with EPC contractor teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into project execution plans.
• Conduct technical evaluations of design submittals, specifications, and drawings provided by contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in low-voltage (LV) systems (<34.5kV) design and implementation.
• Previous experience working with EPC contractors’ design teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of cable routing methodologies and relevant tools/software.
• Expertise in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and related documentation.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and best practices for LV systems.
