Job Title: Facilities Manager

Schedule: M-F (Mid shift)

Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace. This role involves managing vendors, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting the overall facility needs of a fast-paced BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping services to ensure a clean and functional work environment.
  • Oversee office space planning, workstation setups, and seating arrangements based on business needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including security, janitorial, HVAC, electrical, and building maintenance providers.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental health policies.
  • Monitor and manage facility-related budgets, expenses, and procurement of supplies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance and safety issues, addressing them proactively.
  • Coordinate with IT and Admin teams for infrastructure support, including power backup, air-conditioning, and security systems.
  • Handle emergency situations such as power outages, facility breakdowns, and safety incidents.
  • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Implement energy-saving and cost-efficient facility management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 - 10Β years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a BPO or corporate office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety regulations, and vendor management.
  • Experience handling building security, housekeeping, and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and handle facility-related issues in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
