About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Lead, GBS Service Delivery to join our team in the Philippines. This role will oversee a team of supervisors across various supply chain disciplines, including Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory, Planning, Distribution, Import/Export, and Master Data. You will lead the execution and development of supply chain strategies, ensuring they align with business needs and global standards.

As the key link between Supply Chain GBS and other support functions like Finance, Accounts Payable, and IT, you will play a crucial role in optimizing functional capabilities and driving performance improvements. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Orica’s global supply chain strategy and deliver impactful results.

The role location is based in our Manila Office in Pasig.

What you will be doing

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the performance of GBS Supply Chain teams across Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Distribution, Import/Export, and Master Data.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, drive best practices, and maintain full adherence to SHES requirements.

  • Manage multiple distribution channels to meet customer delivery commitments effectively.

Strategic Execution

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Leadership to implement regional and global strategies.

  • Support Sales & Operations Planning processes to monitor demand requirements within the short-term horizon.

  • Align contracts between Category Management and Global Logistics to ensure seamless supply activities.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and execute initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Leverage available tools to improve accuracy and productivity in warehouse and distribution operations.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage 3rd-party relationships, including formalized supplier performance processes and invoice validation.

  • Ensure timely resolution of vendor and payment discrepancies while maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Lead internal quote management for transactional inquiries, ensuring adherence to contract sign-off processes.

Audit and Compliance

  • Lead internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with operational and financial standards.

  • Support Supply Chain Leadership in addressing internal audit queries and driving adherence to governance frameworks.

What you will bring

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Mining, Oil & Gas, or similar industries, preferably in a complex, multinational environment.

  • Proven leadership experience, with strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in SAP supply chain transactions and MS Excel for analysis and reporting.

  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and remote structures.
