Material Specialist (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Material Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Material Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the material supply chain for various oil and energy projects in the region. This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials.

If selected, the work location would be in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement material procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and select vendors/suppliers of high-quality materials.
• Maintain close relationships with vendors/suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of materials that meet project specifications.
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
• Manage the logistics of material transportation and delivery from vendors/suppliers to project sites.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of material procurement and logistics processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in the oil and energy industry in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
