As an Assistant Research Lead, you will be responsible for the effective planning, implementation, and analysis of researches on consumers’ and shoppers’ behaviors, needs, and preferences.
RESEARCH STRATEGY AND PLANNING
1. Discusses research requirements with Research Analyst and gives direction on the research plan.
2. Checks research plans according to agreed specifications, and aligns these with the objectives of the study.
3. Designs work schedules, priorities, work assignments, and specifications of Research Analysts.
RESEARCH PROJECT MANAGEMENT
4. Ensures accuracy, relevance, and timeliness in the delivery of research requirements.
5. Briefs the Market Research Coordinators and field interviewers on the parameters of the study.
6. Supervises research procedures in coordination with Market Research Operations Group to ensure proper conduct of field data gathering and data processing as per agreed standard.
7. Monitors budget and ensures timely liquidation of all surveys.
RESEARCH ANALYSIS
8. Reviews and checks data analysis, interpretation, and recommendation of all reports to ensure the validity and accuracy of results endorsed to the requesting units.
9. Validates survey data from available sources such as internal sales and data from other related surveys.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
10. Trains, orients, and evaluates staff and recommends developmental programs to ensure optimum delivery of performance.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
11. Develops and maintains key contacts with trade outlets, government agencies, and people from industries of interest.
12. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
