The Opportunity

Our partner is an Australia-based Roofing & Cladding company with a highly trained team of qualified Roofing and Cladding Specialists who offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet their clients' project's unique needs. From detailed construction takeoffs to accurate cost estimating and bid preparation, the team provides fast, reliable and precise solutions to ensure their clients' projects run smoothly and stay within the budget.

They are looking for a meticulous Senior Estimator to strengthen the team's ability to provide accurate and competitive project bids. This role requires expertise in both roofing and cladding systems, along with strong analytical skills and effective multitasking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Assessment - Evaluate roofing and cladding projects, gathering project quantities.


• Cost Estimation - Develop accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, staying informed about market trends.


• Quoting and Proposal - Prepare professional project quotes and proposals, collaborating closely with sales teams.


• Documentation - Maintain organized records of quotes, bids, and project documentation for both roofing and cladding projects.


• Communication - Collaborate with internal teams and work closely with sales administrator.


• Continuous Improvement - Stay updated on industry advancements in both roofing and cladding and contribute to process improvement.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Min Diploma / Degree in the relevant field


• 4-6 year’s experience in Quantity Surveyor (highly desirable) and Project Management in roofing and cladding field


• Proven experience in roofing and cladding estimation or a related construction role.


• Strong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, materials, and installation.


• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.


• Effective communication, organizational, and time-management skills.


• Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities  


• Strong written and verbal communications; with good presentation skills
