The Team: The Industrial Connectivity and Control (ICC) Team focuses on the automation of the industrial environment. We enable the digital transformation vision of our customers securely connect information through the converging IT and OT environments and to interpret these insights leading to more sustainable factories and smart buildings.  Software Configurable I/O (SWIO), 10SPE (Single Pair Ethernet), sigma-delta converters used in precision applications, and IO-Link are core technologies in instrumentation, process control and condition based monitoring. These products enable customers to realize production efficiencies.

Test Development Engineer (Experienced) 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop high performance and quality ATE measurement solutions (both hardware and software) to allow 1st silicon verification, characterization, yield analysis, correlation, qualifications, and release to manufacturing 
  • Contribute to Design for Testability (DFT) and Built-in Self-Test (BIST) definitions and development for improved testability and the best Full Factory Cost (FFC) 
  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions to technical challenges 
  • Lead a new product’s Test development project and managing various Test deliverables in order to maintain schedules that align with the various project milestones.  
  • Collaborate and interact with the Design, Design Evaluation, Applications, and other Product Support teams 
  • Mentor and coach fellow engineers to operate to the next level 

  

Qualifications 

  • Graduate of BS Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years in a similar role is preferred. Master’s degree in the related field is an advantage 
  • Strong experience and background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware/software test and probe development 
  • Development experience in any of the following products or test blocks: Precision ADC/DAC, Flash/EEPROM, SRAM and other memory technologies, microcontrollers, System-on-Chip (SoC)/System-in-Package (SiP) products, and Scan 
  • Proficiency in developing measurement solutions in Teradyne Flex/uFlex, NI GP2/GP3, and/or other automated test platforms 
  • Knowledge and experience in C/C++/Visual Basic, LabView, and Python programming languages. 
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and layout tools like Cadence Allegro is a definite advantage. 
  • Proficiency in using various bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, programmable source and measure units, etc. 
  • Knowledge and experience in statistical analyses and associated tools. 
  • A proactive, autonomous, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in developing and debugging measurement solutions 
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good team player, and has good verbal and communications skills
