Description
  • Identifies appropriate information and analysis to be shared with Business. 
  • Understanding and utilization of primary / supporting applications used across multiple roles and organizations. 
  • Shares reports and information. 
  • Supports the research, analysis and presentation of information by: monitoring external sources, creating custom reports, compiling and summarizing information, producing supporting documentation and exhibits, and verification of information received from external sources. 
  • May maintain personal computer hardware. and software. 
  • Assists other associates with preparation of reports and use of information systems, software and related sources of information. 
  • Trains other users on report preparation and data base access. 
  • Leads special projects like data triggers and serves as point of contact for projects.


Responsibilities
  • Monitors, reviews, and analyzes the data or external environment to support the research and analysis done from internal sources.
  • Presents actionable recommendations, presentations, reports, and documents to help with the use of the information.
  • Data Analysis and data mining which includes use of applications for data import/export, manipulation, reporting and analysis. 
  • Regularly performs data analysis and proactively communicate possible impacts to business 
  • Supports management with all necessary reports and needs to facilitate the process of decision making 
  • Maintains confidentiality relative to the organizational strategies, objectives and practices 
  • Partners with subject matter experts to identify process enhancements to improve overall efficiency and quality 
  • Develop innovative approaches to improve and track processes with the use of Triggers (similar type of concept used in If-Then statements) 
  • Utilizes process mapping techniques to detect and resolve opportunities 
  • Owns the Trigger process from the creation of the Trigger to deployment. This includes testing and implementing necessary updates to the Trigger to optimize its overall success 
  • Ensures overall effectiveness of deployed Triggers by consistently communicating with business partners and seeking feedback 
  • Conducts job shadows to gain the necessary knowledge required to implement process enhancements


Qualifications
  • 3 yrs experience as Desktop Productivity Analyst or Data Developer
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree or at least 2 years in college with relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge in programming languages (XML Path Language, RegEx, PHP, Java, etc.) 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in process improvement, process reengineering, or process reviews 
  • Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and problem-solving tool
  • Excellent skills in real-time time management is a must
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure critical timelines are met
  • Accuracy and attention to details is a must in this role
  • Detail oriented with ability to deliver project deliverables with little supervision
  • Excellent written, verbal and e-mail skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, real-time and frequently changing environment while remaining detailed and organized
  • Demonstrate analytical, organizational, problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Respond positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems
  • Flexible and willing to work in shift schedules
