Job Brief:

The Assistant Restaurant Managers work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager, the store team and other departments in the organization to achieve overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will:

  • Ensure compliance with established standards for Food, Safety, and Cleanliness and achieve a high audit rating across all store operations
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations to maintain or enhance operational efficiency and quality of service, promptly addressing customer needs to boost satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement
  • Assess and secure opportunities for profit such as managing costs and streamlining processes, to meet or exceed profit targets
  • Oversee activities to manage the workforce, including hiring, orientation, certification, and shift scheduling
  • Perform essential administrative duties, like office organization, securing permits, report preparation, and implementing Store Safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree (i.e. graduated from a 4 year college course)
  • At least 1 year work experience in a customer-facing work environment
  • Proficient with technology and essential computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates capability for leading, developing and supervising a team
  • Willing to work rotating shifts, physically fit and able to work long hours

Preferred (but not required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food or Business related course
  • 2-3 years work experience in food service industry or in customer service
  • 2-3 years work experience in a supervisory or managerial role
