Job Brief:
The Assistant Restaurant Managers work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager, the store team and other departments in the organization to achieve overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will:
- Ensure compliance with established standards for Food, Safety, and Cleanliness and achieve a high audit rating across all store operations
- Oversee day-to-day store operations to maintain or enhance operational efficiency and quality of service, promptly addressing customer needs to boost satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement
- Assess and secure opportunities for profit such as managing costs and streamlining processes, to meet or exceed profit targets
- Oversee activities to manage the workforce, including hiring, orientation, certification, and shift scheduling
- Perform essential administrative duties, like office organization, securing permits, report preparation, and implementing Store Safety programs.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree (i.e. graduated from a 4 year college course)
- At least 1 year work experience in a customer-facing work environment
- Proficient with technology and essential computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates capability for leading, developing and supervising a team
- Willing to work rotating shifts, physically fit and able to work long hours
Preferred (but not required):
- Bachelor's Degree in Food or Business related course
- 2-3 years work experience in food service industry or in customer service
- 2-3 years work experience in a supervisory or managerial role
