Management Trainees are trained for the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager. During their training, Management Trainees work collaboratively with the store managers and other departments in the organization to achieve overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Management Trainee will learn to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with established standards for Food, Safety, and Cleanliness and achieve a high audit rating across all store operations
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations to maintain or enhance operational efficiency and quality of service, promptly addressing customer needs to boost satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive sales growth and enhance customer engagement
  • Assess and secure opportunities for profit such as managing costs and streamlining processes, to meet or exceed profit targets
  • Oversee activities to manage the workforce, including hiring, orientation, certification, and shift scheduling
  • Perform essential administrative duties, like office organization, securing permits, report preparation, and implementing Store Safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree (i.e. graduated from a 4 year college course)
  • Proficient with technology and essential computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates capability for leading, developing and supervising a team
  • Willing to work rotating shifts, physically fit and able to work long hours

Preferred (but not required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food or Business related course
  • Past work experience in food service industry or in customer service, or in any customer-facing work environment
