About the Team: 

Citco has a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) Framework, which serves as the foundation of Citco’s risk culture, promoting awareness and accountability at all levels of the organization.

This role forms part of the Group Risk Management (“GRM”) function within the Second Line and provides support primarily to Non-IT related Third Party Risk Management (“TPRM”) for the Banking Division at Citco.

Risk governance at Citco operates using a “Three Lines Model” and this role will involve working closely with various teams across the Three Lines to ensure that ERM is efficiently and effectively implemented on a consistent basis. 

This role has an international remit and the successful applicant will be part of a global GRM team. 

Role: 

  • Assists the business in the identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of applicable risks; 
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders within GRM and the business;
  • Assists management in embedding risk management awareness and practices within the business;
  • Facilitates execution of risk management policies and procedures within the First Line;
  • Supports the consistent implementation and periodic enhancement of the TPRM framework, including policies, procedures and toolkits;
  • Supports the review, analysis and oversight of Risk Events and Action Plans;
  • Supports the performance, co-ordination and review of Third Party Risk Assessments;
  • Supports timely and accurate recording of relevant risk-related information in Citco’s designated system of record;
  • Assists with the preparation of accurate, comprehensive and impactful reporting; and
  • Assists in the provision of risk and control awareness training and guidance to employees.

About You:

  • Holder of a relevant Bachelor’s degree;
  • Minimum of four years’ overall experience in financial services;
  • Knowledge and experience of the Third Party Risk Management advantageous;
  • Team player with experience of working effectively as part of a global team;
  • Highly collaborative, innovative, and effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Demonstrates a “Check and challenge” mentality;
  • Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail, ideally with experience of data analytics tools; and
  • Demonstrates effective project and time management skills, including ability to multi-task and operate successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
